A clinker insulation panel is a ready-made element for insulating a building. It combines an EPS thermal insulation layer — available in thicknesses of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 cm — with a clay-fired clinker tile that provides a durable exterior finish. Both layers are factory-bonded.

One panel does two jobs: it helps retain heat inside the building and provides a durable exterior finish for years to come. This means lower heat loss in winter and no need for regular repainting. On small, simple structures, such as garages, gazebos or outbuildings, the system can be installed by someone with the appropriate skills and tools, following the THERMIOPLUS installation instructions. For residential buildings, we recommend installation by a trained team.

We’ve compiled the most common questions customers have before purchasing the ThermioPlus system.

How much does insulation with clinker insulation panels cost? +

The price depends on surface area, insulation thickness, and the selected tile. The panel itself costs more than standard EPS used in a rendered insulation system, but the price already includes the finished exterior surface — you do not pay separately for reinforcing mesh, adhesive, render or a rendering crew. We prepare every quote individually.

What insulation thickness should I choose? +

Available thicknesses: 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 cm, selected based on the type of building. For a garage or utility building—a thinner layer. For a year-round residence—a thicker one. We’ll advise you during the quote process, as it also depends on the wall’s construction material.

Can I install the panels myself? +

For smaller structures — garage, gazebo, outbuilding — Installation can be performed by anyone with the appropriate skills and tools, following our instructions. For residential homes, we recommend that installation be performed by a trained team.

Can the panels be installed in winter? +

Installation isn't limited to summer—temperature is the key factor, not the season. below +5°C the scope of work is limited. We determine the installation conditions prior to delivery, in accordance with the THERMIOPLUS instructions.

Does clinker require maintenance? +

Does not require painting, unlike plaster. It’s a good idea to check the condition of the grout periodically.

What is the warranty? +

The manufacturer provides 10-year warranty for clinker insulation panels against material and manufacturing defects. The warranty is valid provided that the panels are installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and standard construction practices. If installation is carried out by an Authorized Contractor, an additional 5-year warranty applies to the installation service. This warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the Buyer’s rights under applicable law.

Can clinker insulation panels be installed on any building? +

The panels can be installed on buildings of different construction types. We determine the mounting method and thickness after assessing the wall's construction. Contact us—we'll evaluate your situation.

FUNDING

A tax deduction for expenses related to the thermomodernization of a single-family home. It is claimed in the annual tax return.
